Express Entry application process is for skilled immigrants who want to
settle in Canada permanently and actively participate in Canada’s economy.
Age, work experience, education and language skills are some of the
important factors that are considered. There are three immigration programs
that are managed through Express Entry. They include Canadian Experience
Class, Federal Skilled Worker Program and Federal Skilled Trades Program.
The first step to apply is to determine if you are eligible. Once the eligibility
is established, you need to create an Express Entry Profile. Upon successful
submission of the profile, the applicant is ranked in the Express Entry pool
using the Comprehensive Ranking System or CRS. Then, the IRCC conducts
draws and send the targeted applicants the Invitation to Apply or ITA. Once
invited, you apply for Permanent Residence by filling all the information and
submitting all the required documents.
If you have work experience in NOC 0, A or B in your home country , you
could be a potential applicant for Federal Skilled Worker Program. If you
have the same experience in Canada, you could be eligible for Canadian
Experience Class.
To find out which immigrant program suits you the best, please Book a

the best possible pathway to Permanent Residence.
Canada consists of ten provinces and three territories. Each province and
territory has its own streams and requirements. This program is for workers
who have skill, education and work experience to contribute to the economy
of a specific province or territory and want to live in that province.
This way the provinces select the candidates that will help them overcome
the labour shortage or meet their requirement and the candidate gets an
opportunity to apply for Permanent Residence through the provincial
nomination.
There are two ways you can go about a PNP application – one through non-
Express Entry process and the other one is through Express Entry.
In Non-Express Entry process, you must apply to the province for
nomination. The province determines if you meet the eligibility criteria for
the stream you are registering under. After complete review of your PNP
application, the province sends a nomination. Once nominated, you have to
apply for Permanent Residence.
In Express-Entry process, you must meet the eligibility criteria of Express
Entry immigration program. While creating your profile, you show the
provinces and territories that you are interested in. If a province or territory
sends a Notification Of Interest to your account, you contact them directly
and submit your PNP application. If you are nominated the province or
territory will send a nomination certificate to your account and you accept it
electronically.

You may be able to apply for permanent residence through the Home Child
Care Provider Pilot or Home Support Worker Pilot if you meet the eligibility
requirements and have a job offer to work in one of these occupations.
Through these pilots, you’ll get an open work permit to come to Canada and
work temporarily. This work permit is occupation-restricted (so you have to
work in that specific occupation), doesn’t need a Labour Market Impact
Assessment (LMIA) and lets you get the work experience you need to be
eligible for permanent residence.
If you recently worked as a home child care provider or support worker, your
experience may count towards your eligibility for permanent residence.
Presently, please note that the Live-in Caregiver Program is closed to new
applicants.
If you are a caregiver and have a job offer to come to Canada to support a
child or an ill person, please Book a consultation through Expora Immigration or fill a form at Contact Page and we will help you prepare a comprehensive application
for you and your dependents.
You may be able to come to Canada as a self-employed person. To qualify
under this category you must have two years of relevant experience and
show that you intend to become self-employed in Canada.
You must also score at least 35 points on a selection grid designed to
determine whether you will be able to make an economic contribution to
Canada.
Also, you may qualify for the Start-up Visa program. Under this program,
you must meet all 4 eligibility requirements, as well as the admissibility
requirements to enter Canada. Eligibility requirements include having
a qualifying business, having a letter of support from a designated
organization, meeting the language requirements, and having enough
money to settle and live in Canada before you make money from your
business. In addition, you must meet the admissibility requirements to enter
Canada. Remember that your application may be refused if you are
inadmissible to Canada.

Permanent residents must have a valid permanent resident card (PR card)
or permanent resident travel document (PRTD) to return to Canada by
plane, train, bus or boat. Without one, you may not be able to board.
Your PR card needs to be valid. If your card is approaching its expiry, you
will have to apply for a new one. You are still a permanent resident if your
card expires. If you are in Canada, you may apply to renew your PR card
within 9 months before its expiry.
If you need assistance in renewing your PR card or applying for a PRTD,

we will get back to you as soon as possible.
